Gemini Hand Woven Wool Saddle Blanket – 40" × 34"

This Mayatex Gemini saddle blanket is hand-woven from New Zealand wool and measures 40 by 34 inches, fitting standard English and western saddles with room to protect sensitive areas under the saddle. The 6.5-pound weight provides substantial cushioning and pressure relief while the wool naturally absorbs moisture to keep your horse's back dry during rides.

The blanket features geometric Navajo and Aztec-inspired patterns in black, purple, pink, and white woven throughout. Hand-weaving creates a durable texture that resists pilling and maintains its structure over time, unlike machine-made alternatives. The wool construction allows the blanket to conform to your saddle and pad setup without bunching or shifting.

Mayatex designed this blanket (model 1458-6) for riders who need dependable protection without compromising on visual appeal. The bold woven pattern distinguishes it from solid-colored blankets, while the substantial weight ensures it won't slip during mounting or work. This size works well under saddle pads for additional layering or alone for lighter-duty use. The hand-woven construction means each blanket has slight variations in pattern density, making it a functional piece that also adds character to your tack setup.
